Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 and died on April 15, 1865. He was then the 16th President of the United States. He Started serving his country on March 4, 1861 and was assassinated on April 15, 1865.
Lincoln is the
role model of everyone at that time. He fights for his Nation. He became a
commander-in-chief during the Civil War to protect the people of the United
States. He made the “Emancipation Proclamation” for the freedom of American’s
Slaves and letting the black soldiers fight for the Nation. He also supported
the “Thirteenth Amendment” that ended
the slavery in the United States.
Benjamin Harrison was born on 1833 and died on 1901. His first day at the office was on March 4, 1889 and he ended his service on March 4, 1893. He was the 23rd President of the United States.
Harrison made an act site which prohibits illegal transactions and must require investigations to all who violates the law called the “Sherman Antitrust Act” on July 2, 1890, then on June 27, 1890 another act was made called the “Dependent and Disability Pensions Act” on June 27, 1890, a pension for the veteran of the Union Army during the Civil War. He made and passed so many Acts or Laws that helps the government of the United States improved their service to the people.
